Praise God and thankyou Laura!!!

My wife and I struggled to get a healthier life style and it wasn't untill Laura picked us for this contest that we finally have made a change.It is a slow steady and healthy way we are approaching this and we both are feeling great.So why am I so excited?I just returned from my physical and my Dr. said if he needed a poster boy I would be his choice.All my numbers were great and my diabetes A1C was 5.6 which is awesome and he eliminated one of my diabetic medicines.I had a triglyceride reading once of over 1200 and today it is 99.I am at the gym everyday Mon.thru Fri. and am finally eating normal portions.The inches are coming off evan though the lbs lost have not been what I expected but I believe once the muscle gain levels off the lbs will come off quicker.Oh yea,the wife and I fit on the Harley a lot better now.

Sure is hard to go inside and workout in this weather,but I am still at it.Have to put in a double workout tomorrow because we are heading down to West Virginia and there is a place down there that has the best pizza.Sometimes you have to cheat a little as long as you make up for it.

Eating less exercising more but the lbs are not coming off very fast.If it were not for my cloths getting looser I would be really upset.Cravings have been strong lately but so far I am not giving in.Found Weight Watchers fudge bars to be quite the craving buster.

Had a really good week.Good workouts pretty good on diet except my birthday.Lbs lost do not look that great but I know the inches are coming off due to my cloths are looser.Going to get a tape to measure body parts today to better moniter inches lost.Wish I had the numbers from when they measured us the first day.The weight lifting is off setting the lbs lost I believe.Happy St.Pattys Day everyone,be safe and responsible.

Starting a new week,need to make up for a bad weekend.Ate a lot of extra calories trying to keep my sugar up,very hard trying to keep my levels regulated.Had a lot of very good workouts last week that led to low levels but that is really a good thing.Just need to quit using chocolate to bring my sugar up.

Pretty good week,5 good workouts,stayed true to diet untill tonight.I have had to reduce one of my diabetes medicines already.

Alittle disapointed when I got on the scale yesterday.Have been doing weightwatchers but not a good result on scale.I'm hoping it is due to muscle gain from increased workouts.I am going to try some diet changes to help with my glucose issues.
