2-27-12

Between cutting back on my eating and increased exercise it is playing havic on my diabetes.Had to rush home from the gym when my sugar dropped to 62.I have to make sure to eat before workouts,feel a lot better now but I ate a lot of high calorie junk to bring my numbers up.This is all new to me so I have to learn to adjust but it is actually good because my numbers are down more and it should lead to reduced medicine.

weigh in

Wow was I surprised,after such a slow start I still lost 8 lbs this month.I'm celebrating tonight with a large glass of pop and some Whoppers Robin Eggs then it's back to buisness tomorrow because my goal for next month is 15 lbs.Good job everyone,when I left there was only 3 people left to be weighed in and so far all of us there had lost weight.

Big day today!first weighin,I know it will not be very good do to late start but I feel good knowing my program has started and is in full swing now.Joined Weight Watchers,workout at the Mentor Senior Center 5 days a week and starting to use the Wii fit today.Will write back later today with my weighin results.

Had a good workout on the eliptical today.Stayed within my W.W. points and signed up to use the loseit.com site.Seems like it is too much food I'm eating but when I add it all up I'm where I should be.

fat tuesday

Had to double my workout today because we celebrated Fat Tuesday at work and had some awesome food.I have almost totally eliminated bread from my diet and no longer drink diet sodas.Still worried about this saturday weigh in due to the tough start but I guarrantee a much better result next month.

Cut bread out of my breakfast today,Trying to watch the calories a little closer now,Had a great workout at the Senior Center,they have a couple new elipticals that I fit on now.Look forward to going back and using them again.On the down side I ate too much for dinner tonight.

Has been a strange day,first day back to work this week,ate to much today so I took a long walk and then went to the Senior Center to work out.Half hour on the treadmill and a light workout with weights.Going out of town so this is probably going to be bad weekend workout wise.Will try to find somewhere to exercise if I can but the food will be a tough one.

My mom passed away last night so between spending all my spare time at Hospice House and working I had no real time to workout.Starting next week I will be jumping back into this full steam.

Week 1

Wow,what a first week.Signed up and weighed in on Sunday hoping for a fast start.Unfortunately I ended up taking my mom down to Hospice House and have been spending a lot of time there.I still have managed to cut back on eating,eliminating my bread in the morning and smaller portions at night.Hope to get back to exercising as soon as things settle down a bit.I look forward to this challenge with great enthusiasm and hope everyone the best.
